So you're special because you have a religion? That's it?
So it is a time thing for you. One of the main reasons you want mod is to be able to punish people quicker?
Actions are described by words. What can you specially do to make the forums better? Banning or punishing people sure helps but others can do that anyways. What makes it special that you would do?
Just here to help out on the server to kill time or to try to get mod to kill time?
Just help out without mod? The more noticable thing sorta makes sense, but still that'd be a popularity thing that you want mod. What makes your help different from the hundreds of other people saying 'my help is unique and my help is the best help this server could ask for'.
Great points about the tools, so it's a power thing? You want the power to have these tools and that's what it is people want of being mod?
I agree I feel mods exaggerate how much they go through and certain mods how innocent they are about talking about other players.
Great point here for everyone. She didn't want to do it cause she'd be the best help to the server. She did it to learn what it's like to moderate people, and as a leader, she learned to lead groups of people like she may need to do in later life. Thanks for the response.
Again read the thread. Can't you just help without the rank? What help will you do?
No, what I'm asking is why do you need the mod rank to do this help? If you love helping so much why don't you do it without the rank?
It shouldn't matter if you donate or not. It doesn't affect your moderator duties.
Just give them back their items anyway without the rank? You do know mods can't spawn in items?
Greatest point you've made yet. Love that you're wanting to do it to basically ready and teach yourself when you're older. Now that's a real reason :)
Thank you too for your great points too!
Thanks for the input. What I was really asking was what makes helping out with the mod rank easier than without? Is it a time thing to quickly ban/punish someone?
don't believe you got the sarcasm

    Very long reply :p

If you want to drive a nail into a log and all you have is your bare hand, is it asking for power to ask the blacksmith for a hammer? Surely not "power" in the machiavelic sense. But certainly power to fulfill your task. Nothing more, nothing less. Just as it is to ask for mod. Whether you are mod because you legit want to help out people (why the hell does that eventuality seem so unbelievable to so many of you???) or because you love the task, the challenge of being mod, or simply the community. You ask for the tool that will help you to reach your goal.

Well I'm only 14 and this is a huge responsibility for me to try to get moderator. Also some people just like helping other people. I didn't know it was that hard for people to understand that. XD

Im 15, what's your point? It doesn't matter your age. People apply to help. Why complain that people are applying then complain that there is no active mods? The reason most people apply are either to help out people themselves instead of pushing the plead for help off onto another mod. Just because someone is applying to be a mod doesn't mean they don't have a life nor does it mean they NEED a job. Some people don't get a job till they are 18 lmao.

Well cheesy, I am afraid that I am going to have to halt on answering your questions. I really do appreciate them though, you made me think more. and those questions you asked me should be answered in my future application for moderator. Thank you cheesy for your help :D, it means a lot to me, and have a good day.

How, I'm 14 And no it wasn't that rude what I said. What light said was more rude than what I said. It seems like you just don't really like 14 year olds trying to get a cool thing on a server...

Cheesy, you should be a bit careful. He is 14, and your comment did come off as a bit offensive to him. You also must consider since he is 14, he is still in school, and doesn't have the time to work a real life job.

I applied because I believe I can make a difference on the server. Back in 2013,2014, there weren't as many rule breakers as there are now because we had a lot more dedicated mods. My goal is to eventually bring that kind of community vibe back. Not to mention, I like helping people and I want to make the server a better playing experience for everyone.

I meant a general you. "many of you guys" references to multiple people. The first part was directed to you because of your whole Voy scheme. And before you say you care about the server then why would you cause the harm by deceiving the community?

It's not hard to understand; it's hard to relate to as to why you believe moderating a Minecraft server is a "huge responsibility."

Since you're fourteen, maybe instead you should learn how to phrase together a coherent sentence.

It is a big responsibility, it is like being a guidance for like 200+ people. Ok, I will work on my sentence structure, thank you very much :p
