archer we only use British airways because my dad flies to America every month for a week for his work. And he gets avios points which we can use to make flight tickets cheaper. and also not because we are platinum members at all

Aren't Avios points used for other airlines also? Cause I researched and you can use them for other airlines (and their connections too).
