The extensive use of AI in this diss track is concerning. I may be obligated to write my own - without using an obscene amount of energy in the process. Be warned. I am coming.
Go for it I'm just having fun with the editing and creating process and thought to share something new for my channel. And note that these are styled more like a bounce rap, rap battle style more than focusing on it being a "diss"track. Hence calling it an epic rap
Right... because getting a machine to burn through multiple Olympic sized pools for a Minecraft rap video is "creating." My diss track is going to obliterate you. All of you. Especially archerexpert777. And maybe Boba too.
Volume 3 is now released, this one focuses more on ther fun and friends and achievements ive made in skyblock SKYBLOCK EPIC RAP – VOLUME III From starter isle… to legendary lore. Text to speech has been used in creative art form since it's invention, well before AI was a thing even. Notice that extensive work is still required to make the rest of the song.
speech synthesis for voice is different to generative AI for voice. AI has always been a thing, just marketing makes most of us think of generative AI now when people say AI graphic design is different to making extremely obviously ai generated images when you could've spent all of 20 minutes making something a lot more human
To create these, I've used chatgpt to help make mine and toms lyric ideas into a rhyming bounce rap sheet. My prompts include my own experiences with skyblock and some fun and Satire lines too. Then when I have a fun rap written and formed together with chorus and hooks, using help with ai text to song and autotune / beat creation apps I've created several tracks and spliced them together from different versions that are created differently. Then with help from exporting each instruments and different vocal tracks seperatly stems I've taken the time to edit the different character voices to match who they're representing. Making the videos themselves I've done by using a free online title generator, which creates ten second clips. And each one has to be written out line by line and edited in time with the song track. This means splicing and triming and shortening extending each line in the clip one at a time. Creating the player animations, if learnt how to use a new software to me called Mine imator, which can create animations of 3d minecraft builds world's and players. Its been fun learning how key frames work in the software and how the 3d space works to learn how to improve for next time. I've learned also how chromakeying works using a green background and editing that out in vages pro. To create a animated player layer with no backgrounds. The logos for each player I've made in photoshop premiere and made seperate layers for each rapper/cameo and their slogans. All in all its been a fun content creation session involving multiple mediums and platforms, with various stages of editing and creation. Ai helps with some resources, but it's myself thats creating the content ✨️
No, actually. She doesn't create the rest of the song. It is also AI. Text to speech still requires an instrumental to be made. You've written this out as if it takes effort - here's what you actually said: 1. Draw player logos 2. Use AI to generate vocals and music 3. Use AI to generate backgrounds and text 4. Animate characters with a greenscreen 5. Arrange it All of that PALES in comparison to making an actual song. I should know. When I'm not practicing drums, at concerts or rehearsing with a band, I'm producing music. You've made the mistake of contesting me on one of the few things I ACTUALLY know about. You are an editor. The "resources" in question made the audio, visuals, and lyrics. You arranged the parts. Only the tiniest fraction of it was created by you. I have no problem with you. I think making skyblock diss tracks are a great idea (something I have talked about MANY times). I just think that to speak as if YOU created this - as if it isn't almost wholly the product of artificial intelligence - discredits people who actually make music.
Yes, I've said that many times lol. I still have to create the prompts. Manually write the lyric videos out line by line, time it all to the music etc, it's actually a lot more editing work than you give me credit for. The song track whilst the music is created with ai yes, I still have to edit the stems individually to allow for multiple singers, and splicing different tracks together until they sound better. The program I was using generates the music track, and then autotunes the text to voice track. But I still have to maunally edit out the parts that didn't sound good, swap over different vocal tracks. I'm not contesting anything. I'm having fun with content creation, something I encourage more people to do. Perhaps I'm not as skilled as you are, when it comes to performing with live instruments, but I am able to utilise resources that are freely available to create something new and fun. You're talking as if I simply click a button and everything is done instantly for me. Thats not how it works. I still have to give the prompts , I still have to edit everything together in a way that works well, and that all takes time too. The player animations is something new I'm learning, so they can also improve with practice and time. The logo layers are made in photoshop using different title text and image layers. Maybe seeing as you're super invested in me not using ai music, send me your own music and I'll use that instead. Lol by all means, make your own content too. At least I'm having fun doing so ✨️
Bring it on! Tbh i doubt she's trying to build a music empire as much as she's trying to learn some new skills. Using AI to bring in samples to build a song is not diff than using royalty free libraries, just allows it to become more personal and personalized. Also lots of AI generators can be run locally on same hardware you game on. My rtx 3090 PC does not empty any oceans and can happily run 7Bn deepseek r1 Lastly, the amount of times you'd muck up creating your track segments without AI, you'd consume enough energy to make your AI contribution outright green!
