What is wrong with your current PC?

I personally want something with a better CPU and graphics card. With the PC build I have on PCPartPicker, it's nearly $100 more than my normal laptop, and it's a lot better.

What games do you wish to play? So you have a gaming laptop rn?
The build seems rather expensive. If your use case for the pc isn't graphically intensive gaming or editing HD videos you could take slightly cheaper parts but upgrade later. But if its a pc you need to use for a long time then its fine as it is.
I'd get a better power supply though. perhaps 500 watt to be safe.

I have a gaming laptop right now.

I am currently banned on the game I wish to play on (Fortnite.) Due to a third-party software and they believed I was cheating. The build itsself is better than my laptop, and once again is only $100 more. I'll look at getting a better power supply.

Gaming laptops are expensive anyway, you could get far better performance spending the exact same price on a built pc. Fortnite is not difficult to run so with a better pc you could get into better games.
Another idea is to look for builds on youtube and grab the same parts. You could see how fortnite actually runs and you could save money. The money you save can be used on better accessories like a great headset, keyboard and mouse and monitor.

Not gonna like (nor mean to hurt your feelings) but the pc builds you have sent me are getting more bang for your buck lol. You started showing me this 2k (computer only) then scaled it down to something that is worth it more lol

anyways your gaming laptop (it seems) isn't bad (unless you have some memory issues) isn't bad at all. If you're looking for a laptop that is similar in price and build i'd check out razor. They make some pretty beasty laptops, only thing they're gonna make a good hole in your wallet

Regarding your build it's really good, however there are a few things that I feel like you don't need.

    1) I don't think you need an internal hard drive (you listed that in the other box) as you already have a 500 GB SSD. Unless you plan on being a gamer as your career or plan on filling your SSD that quickly then i'd say remove it lol

    2) CPU cooler- Do you plan on overclocking your cpu? Otherwise it's just a waste of power and space. If you do plan on overclocking bear in mind that the more you overclock (which tbh your processor is really good but pricey though) you're gonna reduce the life of your processor and eventually you are going to replace it otherwise your pc is gonna be sending you the blue screen of death on a daily basis ( like my pc unfortunately but its more of a hard drive problem I think)

    3) Your Power supply is pretty good matter of fact that's the base power supply my pc runs on lol. I found a Corsair VS550 that gives 550 watts for about 12 bucks less, but that's up to you

slightly off topic but I thought I'd share this with you, since you mentioned the power supply. I had to upgrade the pc from 450 (or 460 idek for sure) to a 500. Comparing the builds I've done and this I just find it sad why Dell made a power thirsty computer

I've talked with some experts, and they said an SSD and a HDD was probably best, just in case.
    I am definitely overclocking.
    I'll look at it.
power supply was already at 500.

If you wanna overclock it go ahead, but you should be aware that overclocking your cpu is not gonna last forever; matter of fact you risk damaging other hardware and/or the cpu alone. I am not exactly sure what is going to be the new speed once you overclock it but whatever it is, just makes sense to buy another cpu that has higher performance and for around the same price or cheaper, assuming you're only using it for gaming and streaming.

For your cpu you literally have 6 cores & threads at 3.7 Ghz not sure why you wanna overclock it especially with a pretty good radeon graphics card. Pretty sure that cpu can run a lot of games and stream well

I will never own a Radeon.

I’m getting an AMD CPU now.

2600 by quite a bit, however if you have an extra 50 bucks, the 2600x is even better, I use it in my build

what she is saying is if you have the money, sure help yourself out with the best cpu. If you don't she recommends the Ryzen 5 2600 as it is powerful and does not hurt your wallet

2700x is more necessary for video editing and streaming, which I don’t do. Plus, gen 3 is coming out.

For video editing, I use my i5-4210 and it works just fine. You don't really need a cpu that great to edit videos. What matters is the video editor you are using. My first editor was Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 and it legit is slow. Took like 8 hours to render a 10 minute clip compared to 15-20 minutes on Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 which is what I use.

For streaming yea you do need a pretty good cpu or a decent one at the least
