Any of you happen to know of any good cheap webhosting services?

Before you say it if you don't know much about web-hosting, XenForo is not a webhosting service it is forum software so please don't comment XenForo ;)

Godaddy wants us to pay annually, so its £107 ;) .
I found a host that starts at $0.90 per month, and is actually quite decent, except it keeps blocking my IP when I queue too many files over FTP.

Already got a domain name, I am looking for a HOST to host the website. I want to code it and install it all myself. I have used various other hosts before just looking for a cheaper one. Wix doesn't allow you to custom code anything, its all done for you, so essentially for beginners.

OVH has good options for VPSes. They start at like $3. Even with the lowest tier, a simple nginx+php+mysql setup would run okay for a small website.

If I remember correctly; the Teamspeak is actually hosted on a cheap VPS from OVH, and it runs just fine.

Skyblock uses a subsidiary of OVH

I would prefer not to use OVH, as another server I know who have a playerbase of around 600 used to be hosted by them, and OVH had some payment issues which in the end caused the servers forums and the backup to be deleted, and they were not very co-operative resolving the issue. I will however look into them, thanks

Yea. This along with customer support can be iffy. They actually have auto-renewal now though. As long as you keep a close eye on your emails (they send reminders all throughout the month) you will be fine.

    Offsite backups!!!
